Video Art Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that utilizes video making as a mode of communication to unravel hardwired experiences. Emotional experiences can become attached to images, sounds, smells, tastes and textures during a traumatic event. In therapy utilize imagery or sounds that have personal meaning in order to process experiences and release difficult experiences. Each person's experiences and needs are different, therapies are personalized to serve the client's need. No previous video technical skill is required.
